Actress Mercy Aigbe Blast Lizzy Anjorin “Liz didn’t invite me, but Saidi’ invited me” celebrities tell us why they attended Saidi Balogun’s event instead of Liz Anjorin’s premiere

On the 7th of July, Nollywood experienced a clash of events of their friends and colleagues and there was indeed a dilemma of which to attend and why, should it be that of Saidi Balogun or Liz Anjorin?

Saidi Balogun who happened to be celebrating his 50th birthday held a four-day event that took place between the 4th of July and the 7th. His event on Friday clashed with the event of Nollywood actress, Liz Anjorin, whose premiere of her movie, Owo Naira Bet held on the same day, Friday 5th of July.

Saidi Balogun’s birthday grand finale was a spectacular sight to behold with Nollywood stars enjoying themselves and celebrating the golden Jubilee of their friend and brother.

Speaking to the celebrities who were present at Saidi Balogun’s event, some explained why they didn’t show up while others stated that they will be heading to Liz Anjorin’s premiere after they’ve paid their due respect to their senior colleague, Saidi Balogun.

According to Kemi Afolabi, Liz Anjorin did not invite her to Owo Naira Bet premiere but Saidi Balogun invited her to his birthday and she admitted that she prefers to be in Saidi Balogun’s birthday than the movie premiere., but celebrities such as Mercy Aigbe, Iyabo Ojo stated that they will be heading to Liz Anjorin’s premiere after their stay in Saidi Balogun’s birthday as according to Mercy Aigbe, she is there to give him his due respect.

To some other celebrities, everybody can be celebrated so there is no need to make an issue out of it. Even if the event is more than one, they will definitely be there to give maximum support to one of their own.
